Michael founded Cheer Films in 2012 after years freelancing in photography and commercial video production. With roots as a multi-instrumentalist and Broadway orchestra member, he always brings a musical sensibility to his storytelling. As a Director of Photography, he’s equally at home creating a rhythm in improvisation, designing a lighting plot, and visually crafting a complex character arc.
